Strictly construction

A pool builder, and only a pool builder

Hilltop is a construction company focused on building residential and commercial pools. No retail counter, no weekly cleaning route: the whole firm is organised around getting water into concrete correctly, then handing it over to owners who know how to run it.

From the survey stake to the final walkthrough

4.3from 50 Google reviews. Read across: each stage of a Hilltop build, and an owner who went through it.

Get in touch

It starts with a call or a note about the project. Before a pool can be designed, the property needs a survey stamped and certified by a licensed surveyor, and a Hilltop designer comes out to walk the yard.

“What stood out most was the complete lack of high-pressure sales tactics.”

Holly Salazar, Google review

Detailed proposals

The proposal is itemised: the most detailed quotes and proposals you will find, so the cost and the scope are clear before anything is signed. No hidden-fee surprises later.

“Great experience working with Hilltop Pools from the day we discussed design through getting the permit closed.”

Custom features

Infinity edges, waterfalls, spas, pool lighting, patios, fire features and outdoor kitchens are drawn into the design here, from simple to grand, around your budget.

“they use top of the line components that I would have never thought to ask for.”

Hugh V, Google review

Construction

Building begins once the proposal and the design are approved, to the highest standards of quality and safety, with Hilltop's own crews on the job.

“Building our dream pool was a big investment and a daunting process, but Hilltop were there every step of the way, from design and permitting to maintenance and drainage.”

Jamie Martin, Google review

Final walkthrough

The crew demonstrates every feature, shows how the equipment works and answers the questions, and new owners leave knowing what to maintain, which chemicals to use and the signs of a problem.

“Not only did they build a quality product, but their customer service has been outstanding.”

Scott Pillittere, testimonial on hilltoppools.com

Concrete first, then everything the water touches

Hilltop's core work is the concrete pool itself, for homes and for commercial properties. The spas, stone walls, fire features and decks are designed with it, and the same crews come back to renovate older pools.

Cracks, equipment, tile

Repairing cracks, upgrading tired equipment and replacing tile, quoted the same way as a new pool: a visit, then a detailed proposal.

Same name, same location, same family

Brian Miller grew up in upstate New York, taught school and built pools through the summers, then opened Hilltop on South Main Street in Jonesboro in 1976. It grew into one of the larger builders serving greater Atlanta without ever moving or changing hands.

His children run it now, from the same address. When an owner calls about a heater or a pump years after the build, they reach the company that poured the shell.
